Volunteer Your Time

The contributions that a volunteer brings to our Organization are tremendous and invaluable. The special care and service that a volunteer adds to our programs and services sets us apart from other home health and hospice providers. Because we are a non-profit, charitable organization, volunteers can be assured their time and talents are being donated to an organization that truly cares and gives back to the community.

Volunteers are needed throughout the Organization, especially in these areas:

Speaker’s Bureau is made up of individuals who enjoy speaking to groups or organizations in their own communities providing education about our programs. You may wish to speak or request a speaker by faxing the form to (760) 836-9300. Use the link to print the form.

Hospice Care volunteers are involved in direct patient care, grief and bereavement care, and also contribute in the office, providing clerical and administrative support to assist the program and patients.

• Our Development office utilizes volunteer services to assist with clerical and administrative needs, assist in special events and fundraising campaigns, and to serve on special projects and activities.

General office and support volunteers assist in helping with general office duties and responsibilities in all of our offices and programs.

• Our Board of Directors serve without compensation to ensure the continued and ongoing operations of the Organization.

All volunteers receive an Orientation to the Agency in addition to appropriate training for their volunteer position.

For more information on volunteer opportunities in your area, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator in the office nearest you.
